Care that starts with the person, not the condition
Residential, dementia, respite, day care and palliative support — delivered by one team that knows everybody by name, and has done since 1985.

A permanent home
Round-the-clock personal care for people who can no longer manage safely at home: help with washing and dressing, medication, continence support, meals, laundry and — just as importantly — company.
Before anyone moves in, the manager visits to carry out an assessment and build a care plan with the person and their family. That plan is reviewed regularly.
- 24-hour support from a permanent staff team
- Care plan written with you, not for you
- All meals, snacks, laundry and housekeeping included
- GP, district nursing, chiropody, optician and dental visits arranged
Living with dementia, still living
We provide care for people living with dementia in a way that respects their life experience and cultural preferences. A person who spent forty years getting up at five for a farm shift does not suddenly become someone who lies in. We work with who somebody has always been.
In practice that means life-story work with families, consistent faces on shift, an environment that stays familiar, and activities pitched at the person in front of us rather than at a diagnosis.
- Life-story work completed with the family before admission
- Consistent staffing so faces and routines stay familiar
- Staff trained in dementia care, Mental Capacity and DoLS
- Meaningful occupation, not entertainment for its own sake

Respite care
Carers need a break, and sometimes they need one at no notice at all. We offer short-term residential care from a single night upwards, with the same 24-hour support a permanent resident receives.
It is also the gentlest way to try us out. Many of our permanent residents came first for a fortnight while a daughter went on holiday.
Day care
A full day with all meals included, during which you can spend time with people of your own age and join in whatever is on. Use the salon, sit in the conservatory, come for the company.
Places are available through the week — call to check what we have free. We are not able to provide transport, so day care guests need to be brought to us and collected.
Palliative care
Dignified, sensitive and person-centred palliative care, so that nobody has to move away from the people and the room they know at the time it matters most.
We support families through it too — including making space for them to stay.
Not sure what level of care is needed?
Neither are most families at this stage. Call the home and speak to the manager — there is no charge and no obligation.
